Connect to our wifi using the network FISHNET and the power of technology will do the rest.

TV & CHROMECAST

Your TV offers a range of domestic channels
(the ones where you won’t miss Corrie or Eastenders).
Alternatively, you can stream your favourite series from your own device onto your TV using the built-in Chromecast.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Connect your device to FISHNET wifi.

On the TV remote use the source button (normally top right) to connect to HDMI.

Hang on 30 seconds or so and a QR code will appear on the TV screen.

Scan this with your device, making sure you select the Chromecast numbered to your bedroom and you are off and away…

HOW TO CONTROL YOUR HEATING

COACH HOUSE (rooms 17-29)
Adjust the thermostat dial on the radiators to a temperature that suits.

OUTHOUSE (rooms 62-64)
Adjust the thermostat on the wall as you enter the room.

STABLES
(Barnes Wallace, Lancaster & Rooms 72 – 99)
This building is heated using a sustainable ground source heat pump, which you cannot adjust using the thermostat on the wall. If the temperature in your room isn’t quite right please let us know and one of the crew will help straight away.

OUTHOUSE (rooms 62-64)
Adjust the thermostat on the wall as you enter the room.

HILLY HUTS
Use the thermostat on the wall under the TV to control the underfloor heating.

HIDEAWAY HUTS
Control the heat using the thermostatic dial on the radiators. If you are in Boaty, Fairy, Snug, Snout and Bottom, use the wall thermostat by the tea and coffee station to adjust the temperature.

TREEHOUSES
Use the thermostats on the wall in the living area, outside the bathroom and in the bunk room to control the underfloor heating.

USING THE HOT TUB

We monitor the water quality and temperature by testing the tubs on a daily basis, so please leave settings on automatic.

We recommend that you take off any jewellery whilst taking a dip in the hot tub.

 If you’re thirsty whilst taking a dip then don’t forget to “Buzz for Booze!”

Once you’re done please pop the cover back on so the hot tub stays…well, hot!

Please do not use the hot tub if you are pregnant or have high blood pressure.

ROOM SAFE, HAIRDRYER, IRON AND BED LINEN

SAFE AND SOUND
To keep your valuables safe, follow the instructions in the safe to set your code. If you need this to be reset at any time then just let our team know.

HAIR DRYER
You’ll find your hair dryer in your wardrobe or chest of drawers.

IRON AND IRONING BOARD
Where possible we provide these in your wardrobe. In the Stables, you’ll find these along the hallway to the right of the entrance, en route to the wine machine!
(Treat yourself while you’re passing!)

BED LINEN
If you would like your bed linen changed during your stay, please contact Reception.

HOW TO CONTROL YOUR HEATING

At The Fish we use sustainable briquettes, the fire has been set exactly as required. Please do not add or remove any more briquettes to your fire.
You will only require just one sustainable briquette for an 8-hour fire .

STEP 1
Strike a match and light the fire paper and fire-lighter and let the flames catch.

STEP 2
Push the door too, leaving the door open by an inch.

STEP 3
Always keep the vents open.

STEP 4
After 5 minutes and the fire has built up, close the door fully.

STEP 5
