Our Falconry and Archery sessions were spectacular — though it’s clear none of us will be pursuing a professional archery career despite the excellent coaching. I would highly recommend these activities for families, even teenage boys who ordinarily can’t be bothered. We appreciated the kindness and patience shown to us.

Wonderful stay and great activities especially David on the clay pigeon shooting Hook and Bar staff all great and Kevin was exceptional in making sure all our complicated requirements were ,met without fuss. Housekeeping was also great. Excellent!

Loved our archery lesson - stunning setting for our first ever attempt at archery and must say a massive thanks to Callum and Brandon who made our session really relaxed and good fun. I’d booked this for my partner’s birthday and he really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it to anyone!

Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful hut and the hot tub was perfect after a long cycle. Very attentive and helpful staff. Delish food at the hut restaurant. Hope to stay again soon!

Wonderful falconry experience. Enjoyable for children and adults. The birds were beautifully kept and perfectly behaved! We learned a lot of each one and even saw how they reacted to nearby birds flying around. The private experience was perfect for our group. Connie is clearly passionate about her work with the birds. She is an excellent resource.

Brilliant activity! We have 2 teenage sons and half term holiday activities are difficult to find that are exciting and different to suit the whole family. Leaves you wanting a little bit more time, competitive in nature and a thumbs up from all of us. Wish more activities like this existed. Expensive but worth it.

This was our first time shooting, Callum and Paul were fantastic! They talked us through the history of the Estate which was fascinating and made the shooting experience so enjoyable, talking us through every stage and really letting us get into it - they know their stuff! We stayed for 3 days in The Fish and loved it. Our room in the Coach House was large and comfy. It is a beautiful estate and we loved listening to the birds in the morning. Staff were helpful and friendly and our room was cleaned every day which was nice. I loved the wellies to use as these were definitely needed. Breakfast was tasty and there was a decent choice. We also booked clay shooting for the 4 of us and this was a really fun experience. Our instructor was lovely and patient as we had not done before. We would highly recommend this experience and the Fish Hotel.
