CURRENT VACANCY
**Weekend Room Attendants – The Fish Hotel, Farncombe Estate**
We are currently looking for **Room Attendants** to join our hardworking Housekeeping team at The Fish, one of the award-winning hotels on Farncombe Estate. Our 500-acre Estate is set on a beautiful hillside just above Broadway and is the perfect place to develop and learn.
This role is **weekend only** , working **Saturday and Sunday, 10:00–15:00 (5 hours each day)** .
As a Room Attendant, you’ll be responsible for the cleaning and presentation of The Fish Hotel’s bedrooms. We offer just under 70 unique rooms across our luxurious yet rustic woodland setting — from treehouses, cabins and shepherds huts to more traditional hotel bedrooms, all designed in a contemporary yet cosy style.
✨ **Ideally, you will have:**
* Some previous housekeeping experience (though full training will be provided)
* A positive and hardworking attitude, with a great eye for detail
* A love of working in a team and helping to create an exceptional guest experience
* Your own transport, as our accommodation is spread out across the Estate
**Pay & Benefits**
We offer **£12.60 per hour** , plus share of tips, uniform and meals on duty.
We also offer a raft of excellent benefits including:
* Pro rata of 30 days holiday per year (rising to 35 after 5 years)
* A celebration birthday lunch in one of the hotels, on us!
* Access to onsite mental health first aiders, and an employee assistance programme from Hospitality Action
* Free access to wellbeing resources – online exercise classes, mindfulness tools and nutritious recipes
* High Street discounts and cashback via Hospitality Rewards
* Estate discounts on dining, stays, wine, spa products and more
* Be rewarded with £1000 to spend how you wish in our employee recognition programme
* Up to £1000 when you successfully refer a friend
* Premium payments for Christmas and New Year shifts
* An optional, low-cost healthcare cash plan
* Free financial planning advice
* Fully funded apprenticeship opportunities across a wide range of departments (including some you might not expect, like our Adventure team!)
Due to our rural location, you will need your own transport (WR12 7LJ).
*We are members of the Hoteliers Charter, and are committed to providing a workplace built on respect, fairness, equality, diversity and opportunity, and to putting wellness and career development at the heart of what we do.*
If this sounds like your ideal next move, and you’d like to discuss this role or other opportunities across our Estate, please do get in touch — we’d love to hear from you!
