Events Coordinator – Farncombe Estate
We are currently recruiting for an Events Coordinator to join our dynamic Events team at Farncombe Estate. Our award-winning 500-acre Cotswolds hillside is home to three unique hotels – The Fish, Dormy House, and Foxhill Manor – as well as our Hillside Hangouts. Together, they make up one of the most exciting and diverse hospitality destinations in the UK.
As Events Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for all event and group enquiries across the Estate. You’ll manage the client journey from the very first enquiry through to contract stage, ensuring every guest has a seamless and professional booking experience. Once confirmed, you’ll hand over to the Events Manager for the smooth operational delivery of each event. With a focus on exceptional service, sales conversion, and clear communication, this role is key to the success of our busy Events team.
The role is based on a 40-hour per week contract (working 8-hour shifts plus ½ hour unpaid lunch break, across 5 days which may include the occasional weekend).
✨ Ideally, you will have:
* Previous experience in an administrative, hospitality, sales, or events role
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries at once
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence in handling demanding guests with professionalism
* A customer-focused and approachable attitude, with the ability to build rapport quickly
* Good IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and booking platforms
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* A collaborative and supportive team player mindset
Pay & Benefits
We offer an hourly rate of **£14.15 per hour ** (£29,432 per annum), plus service charge (around £2,000–£2,500 per year), making a total package of up to **£31,932 per year** .
