We’re looking for an experienced, confident and people-focused **Reception Manager** to lead our Front of House team at **The Fish Hotel** — one of Farncombe Estate’s award-winning hotels, set within our beautiful hillside woodland above Broadway.
The Fish is all about relaxed, feel-good luxury… where guests come to switch off, reconnect with nature and enjoy exceptional, thoughtful hospitality. As Reception Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping every guest journey — leading by example, developing your team and ensuring every stay feels personal, seamless and memorable.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the day-to-day operation of Reception and Front Office
* Setting and maintaining excellent service standards
* Ensuring a warm, personalised guest experience
* Managing arrivals, departures and special occasions
* Leading, training and developing your team
* Overseeing rotas, staffing and payroll information
* Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally
* Working closely with Housekeeping, F&B and senior leaders
* Ensuring accurate reservations, billing and administration
* Maintaining high standards of presentation and compliance
The details:
£36,088 per annum
40 hours per week across 5 days (including weekends)
Shifts include:
Early: 07:00–15:30
Mid: 09:00–17:30
Late: 14:30–23:00
Meals on duty and uniform provided
