We’re on the lookout for a reliable and hardworking **Kitchen Porter** to join the team at **Dormy House Hotel & Spa** — part of Farncombe Estate and home to some of the Cotswolds’ most celebrated dining experiences.
At Dormy, you’ll be working within a high-quality, professional kitchen environment, supporting a talented brigade delivering exceptional food across our restaurants. It’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of a close-knit, supportive team while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting the kitchen team with pot wash and general cleaning duties
* Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised at all times
* Assisting with basic food prep where required
* Ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
* Supporting the smooth running of service during busy periods
* Working closely with chefs and front-of-house teams
✨ What we’re looking for:
* A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in
* A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude
* Good attention to cleanliness and organisation
* The ability to work evenings and weekends
* Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
The details:
* £13.45 per hour
* Plus service charge (£2,000–£2,500 per year, pro rata)
* **28 hours per week over 4 days**
* Includes evenings and weekends
* Meals on duty and uniform provided
