We’re looking for a warm, professional and intuitive **Reception Host** to join our friendly Front of House team at **Dormy House Hotel & Spa** — one of Farncombe Estate’s award-winning luxury hotels overlooking the beautiful village of Broadway.

Dormy House is all about relaxed indulgence — where guests arrive as visitors and leave as friends. As a Reception Host, you’ll be one of the first faces they see, welcoming them with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. From check-in to check-out (and everything in between), you’ll make sure every stay is effortless, memorable, and full of those special Farncombe touches.

️ **What you’ll be doing:**

* Welcoming and hosting guests from arrival to departure with warmth and confidence

* Checking guests in and out efficiently using our hotel systems

* Anticipating guest needs and delivering thoughtful, personalised service

* Sharing your knowledge of the Estate, local area, and experiences to enhance every stay

* Handling calls, emails, and reservations with professionalism and accuracy

* Liaising with other departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction

* Supporting the team with luggage, guest transfers, and evening hosting in the lounge or bar when needed

* Maintaining an immaculate and welcoming reception and lounge area

✨ **What we’re looking for:**

* A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* A calm and confident manner, even during busy periods

* A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

* Previous front-of-house or reception experience in a hotel environment is an advantage

* A driver’s licence would be beneficial (to help with guest transfers across the Estate)

**The details:**

* £12.60 per hour, rising to £12.80 after one year

* Plus tips, meals on duty, and uniform provided

* 40 hours per week across 5 days (including weekends)
